Pardon The Insurrection
Where we discuss the ongoing Congressional and criminal investigations of the January 6 coup orchestrated by the former President. And because insurrection wasn't enough, we'll also cover the Department of Justice espionage investigation, investigations relating to other members of Congress, and more. Don't worry, we're not handing out any pardons.
Pardon The Insurrection
Drake Pronounced Dead, Trump Pronounced Braindead
What happens when Kendrick Lamar's strategic genius meets Drake's renowned charisma? Join us as we dissect the explosive feud between these two hip-hop giants. We break down Kendrick's meticulous maneuvers that left Drake reeling, drawing fascinating parallels to Floyd Mayweather's legendary preparation. Relive the viral moments from Kendrick's California concert and understand the cultural significance of this feud, especially as it resonates with Juneteenth celebrations.
Next, brace yourself as we navigate the unsettling terrain of Donald Trump's potential re-election. The prospect of Trump leveraging presidential powers to shield his supporters from federal crimes is a dystopian nightmare we can't ignore. We emphasize the dire need to vote for Joe Biden and mobilize others to safeguard our democracy. This urgent call to action is more than just politics; it's about preserving the very fabric of our nation.
Finally, we scrutinize the media's portrayal of political narratives, especially surrounding Trump's legal woes and the January 6th insurrection. From Marjorie Taylor Greene's controversial remarks to the media's failure in investigative journalism, we leave no stone unturned. Highlighting the efforts of journalists like Lauren Windsor, we critique mainstream media’s shortcomings and stress the importance of holding power to account. Tune in for a critical look at media practices and a nostalgic journey through the early days of internet communication.

Hey, this is D-Night.
Speaker 2:This is Carol. This is Ty.
Speaker 1:You're listening to the Pardon the Insurrection podcast. The gang is back together. Sometimes you just gotta pop out and show Republicans. I'm sorry, so you know. Maybe you guys don't know this, but Kendrick Lamar is holding his pop out and, yeah, pop out and show show him. Kend friends concert in california today. That's incredible, uh, you know, he out there doing it, not like us. He got like a whole arena full of people dancing on drake's grave calling him a pedophile at the same time. It's insane. That's bananas. Uh, sorry, canada, your boy lost. Um, I'm actually uh, huh, what were you saying?
Speaker 4:No, qanon the podcast. They actually did a whole episode breaking down the Kendrick Lamar and.
Speaker 1:Drake beat. Oh yeah, that's crazy they went through every.
Speaker 4:It was fucking. It was really really good. What podcast was? This this is QAnon Anonymous.
Speaker 1:Oh, like the reverse QAnon.
Speaker 4:They're trying to get you off the QAnon narcotic. But they were like this is how Kendrick broke this shit down and broke Drake's shit down, and it was good. I was listening to it and I was like, yeah, okay, it was really good, you gotta listen to it, I gotta be honest.
Speaker 1:I like Drake as an artist. He makes some bops. He got some songs somewhere for somebody for everybody. But he also got his ass kicked. And it's not because he ain't a good rapper, it ain't because his diss tracks weren't good. His diss tracks were actually incredible. Well, most of them he just got out-angled. Just Kendrick hit him on some levels that he wasn't prepared to respond to, and it's kind of his own fault. He set himself up like just Kendrick hit him on some levels that he wasn't prepared to respond to and it's kind of his own fault Like he set himself up for that.
Speaker 1:Like you know, one of the things I respect about Floyd Mayweather Jr is not the fact that he's undefeated, cause I mean, you know a lot.
Speaker 1:A lot of that is just you know you plan out your opponents in advance, so you make sure you always fight guys that you know you can win against. But one of the things that um floyd mayweather had just a quality that I respect is, while he was braggadocious in public, uh, whenever there was a fight, whenever there's a match, he always treated his, his opponent, with respect in terms of his preparation, like he treated the least of his competition, like they were the best fighter in the world. He was always ready to go, he was always training, he was always prepared, he was always watching the film and learning their moves and making sure he and that's why he never lost the fight. And the thing that drake did is he had no respect for his opponent whatsoever. Even when we all looked at kendrick lamar and been like that, he don't ever say nothing. He'd a quiet dude, he an insane person. You better watch yourself, doc, and you know if I had Drake's phone number.
Speaker 4:I'd have been like is one of my favorite artists artists yeah, like he is in when he he was spitting straight fucking facts yeah, he went in on Drake.
Speaker 1:Well, I don't know how factual uh a lot of the stuff he was saying was, but it don't matter. Uh, just you know it had the intended effect and he won and he, he outdrake drake. Like the problem generally with having beef with drake is drake is gonna drop like a bop on y'all and he gonna have y'all. He gonna have a whole world dancing to some shit. That's about you and then that ain't even what kendrick do. Kendrick don't even try and make jams like that. He makes, like you know, slightly more artistic work in terms of hip hop, if you're into that. But then he like he hit him with like some psychological shit. He like hit him with some. He told him what he was going to do in advance and then like he crushed his whole. You know, when Drake dropped his little diss track, he dropped out, he crushed his whole. You know, when drake dropped his little diss track, he dropped out, dropped off something that just like quieted all of that down and then the next day he dropped the bop and had everybody dancing, while calling you a pedophile at the same time. It was incredible. He did some drake shit. It was pretty fucking funny.
Speaker 1:Yeah, everybody calling him a 69 guy. Uh, you know it's juneteenth currently. As we're recording this, dudes out here celebrating juneteenth dancing to some not like us, they not like us, they not like us. Freak it. You were 69 and then you know, 100 years from now, when people are like looking back in history at the first celebrations of, you know, the official juneteenth holiday, you know they're gonna be looking at these videos and be like man, what you know, kids are gonna be asking their parents, mom, what's a 69 god? And you know it's just because that is that is how bad um, kendrick lamar killed drake that we are celebrating to it on a national holiday. That aside, sorry, got off tangent here. I just, uh, was watching something didn't?
Speaker 7:we used to have a sponsor who owes me some something. I don't even need more sheets, but just give me something, oh yeah, you know what I?
Speaker 1:I ain't talking to colin in a minute, but, yes, shout out to sheets and giggles, our favorite sponsor in the world and only sponsor ever favorite and only yeah, make sure you hit up sheets and gigglescom and get you some wonderful like they are incredibly soft sheets, like they're so good. Like my little crappy thin sheets feel like toilet paper, like one ply compared to them things. Now it just I don't like sleeping on my crappy sheets anymore. That's how good your sheets from Sheets and Giggles are.
Speaker 7:You can send my extra mine to Dee and give him an extra.
Speaker 1:Tens of thousands of people are gathered, gathered together to call drake a pedophile today, and if he has some sheets from sheets and giggles, he'd still be sleeping soundly at night. Um, so obviously it's been a crazy couple weeks. I mean, we, we missed out on the episode for you last week.
Speaker 7:My apologies, trying to happen was we got busy yeah, we're trying to let.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we're trying to let that happen too often. Uh, because obviously there were a lot of developments. We had that whole hunter biden thing where he was convicted on those gun crimes in california and, surprise, surprise, you know, democrats weren't out here threatening the judge and threatening to overthrow the government and all this crazy shit, like when trump got convicted. Uh, so congratulations to you know, democrats for following the rule of law. I mean, you know, even even President Biden himself said he wasn't going to pardon his son, which, I mean again, it's not like he has to say that, but you know that's in total opposition to when Trump was saying he has the absolute right to pardon himself if he's president. So all that kind of crazy shit.
Speaker 1:Also, we had Lauren Windsor bodying the entire republican party for the past week or so here with her numerous recordings of um. Uh, justice samuel alito. Uh, justice samuel alito's wife, uh, roger stone, here yesterday. I'll probably play a clip of that, but uh, you know she got alito on tape admitting to some crazy shit about how it's basically not it's, it's not even um a war between the right and the left, or conservatism and liberalism, or even democrats and republicans. It's like a, a war for the future of the world, like, and he's clearly a warrior for the right and he's like you know, if we lose, the country will be plunged into darkness for 10 000 years some weird apocalyptic biblical shit, um, so in case you were wondering why his rulings on the supreme court always seem fucking insane, that should kind of clue you in and then talk to. She talked to alito's wife about the fucking flag and she was basically saying you know, I gotta look at these fucking pride flags in January.
Speaker 4:Nobody should be surprised. I mean, in his opinion, after Roe was overturned he went back to the 16 fucking hundreds.
Speaker 1:So it should be as no surprise to anyone your boy quoted one of them, dudes, that was hunting witches in salem dog that's like women, just women.
Speaker 7:Well, you know, yes, but no, I mean I'm not referring to the women as witches.
Speaker 1:I'm referring to like I know the principle of hunting witches, which is insane. Like that's, that's what I was getting at, like that's the level of insanity, uh, that alito is we got to get him to fuck up out of here. Like if you ain't, if you're listening to this podcast and you ain't voting for joe biden, you better, because it's gonna be like four more alitos on that bitch on the supreme court if trump wins in november.
Speaker 7:Like it's gonna be over, we're gonna be living and then there'll just be no court and just everything will fall apart.
Speaker 1:I mean, you'll see, it'll take a little while yeah, man, these people are like they're on the internet. They're like, well, if you know, trump's got all these plans to do all of this stuff, well, why don't you pass laws to stop them? Hey guys, do you know how fucking dictatorship works? The laws won't matter, they won't matter. He'll have enough power that he can allow enough people to break the law and do whatever they want to. That, like, the laws and the books won't matter, at least not for, like, those people involved in that matter. I mean, again, I'm glad you know the internet's finally starting to pick up on project 2025 and how insane it is. I think one of the things people are ignoring to their detriment about just how fucking ridiculous it could be.
Speaker 1:In my own personal opinion, the most dangerous aspect is this idea that once Trump is in the White House and he'll have the pardon power, he's basically going to grant everyone federal immunity to commit crimes in his name, right? So, like law enforcement, if you know, local, local law enforcement wants to join in his project to kind of deport 20 million fucking people, regardless of where, whatever the laws are on the books, who just grant them immunity. Fucking people, regardless of whatever the laws are on the books who just grant them immunity, right. So these people could round up anyone. It won't necessarily be undocumented immigrants per se, it could just be his political rivals. Throw them in jail, lock them up, throw them across the border, put them out on the boat, send them off on a plane, and you'd be like, well, won't the court stop that? Yeah, the court ain't got no army, right. And even if they do try and hold these people accountable, especially in federal court, trump would just be like all right, well, just I'll pardon them and you know, good luck stopping them.
Speaker 4:I mean, I just I can't like, as we are on the doomsday clock, counting down the realization that Trump could actually be elected president, it is frightening beyond measure to me, for myself, for my kids and thinking like, what is our exit plan? Like, what is our, what are we going to do if that?
Speaker 1:happens. I mean you talk about trying to lead the country, or something wrap my head around it.
Speaker 4:I am fucking scared, like I am scared beyond measure of what will happen after November 5th 2020, if he is elected.
Speaker 1:Like I can't even yeah, man, the shit is going to be apocalyptic, it's going to be them 10,000 years. It's going to be those 10,000 years of darkness that Alito was talking about. What were you saying, Carol?
Speaker 7:I was going to say. So what we can do now is, you know, try to prevent that, ty. Oh yeah, look, I'm with you, get in there. We got to get in there gotta get in there.
Speaker 1:I mean, look, so obviously I'm doing. I mean, you know who the fuck am I? But I'm doing as much as I can to make sure biden wins in november. But if you ain't voting for joe biden and you listening to this, hey, after the election, if trump wins, I ain't doing no fucking protesting, right, if, like, trump comes after y'all and he deports your asses or locks you up or has you assassinated or disappeared or whatever the fuck the plan is, once they get into power, I ain't protesting. You should have voted for joe biden. Um, you know, I'm doing all my protesting right now, when it matters, while we still have the power, to make sure we don't end up in that predicament, because if people don't listen now and then after the fact, they want to get out there, try and protest and, you know, fight the power and resist and all of that shit.
Speaker 7:And they didn't vote for biden, fucking people yeah, what your plan should be is to vote for biden, and then you can protest him all you want yeah, well, we'll also convince other people to vote for biden as well yeah, if you want to maintain the right to protest yeah, because that's the other thing I know people are not happy.
Speaker 7:Some people are not happy with their choices, but it's really not like the lesser of two evils. One of them is like actually quite confident and doing a pretty good job, and just you're like I'm gonna listen to the same media you say you don't trust when they're telling you he's doing a bad job anyway yeah, fair enough, but so we've got um a couple of clips that we can play for you all.
Speaker 1:Um, first of all, uh, let's go with marjorie taylor green and talking about how dimmer. Well, I'll just let you hear it for yourself that bitch they are going to put president trump in prison.
Speaker 3:They are, they want to put him in prison. How do you think we're all going to feel about the republicans in washington when they put President Trump in prison?
Speaker 1:Well, she is right about one thing we're going to do our fucking best to make sure Trump goes to prison. And not because it's witch hunt and not because you know Biden's running some kind of autocracy. It's because trump committed a bunch of crimes that we all fucking saw with our own eyes. Right, we all saw it like uh, you know the january 6th shit. We all saw that happen with our own eyes. The florida documents case I mean fuck, we saw the pictures. Documents were everywhere. He was moving them from, like you know, the dance floor and the stage all the way to the fucking bathroom. Uh, by the fucking pool room in his you know, uh, in his office is his suite at mar-a-lago. We saw him laid out on the floor. They took the fucking pictures. I mean, for g, for christ sakes. And then not only the documents, we saw the cover-up. I mean they running around looking at the security camera for the security camera so they know which footage to delete. I mean, for God's sake, we all saw that.
Speaker 4:She has admitted that she was a part of the insurrection.
Speaker 1:The what now. Hot what did you say I?
Speaker 4:got froze.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you froze up for a second. I'm sorry Repeat that one more time.
Speaker 4:She has admitted that she was a part of the coup plot.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, you know now that you mention it. You're right. You're absolutely right. We got a video for that as well.
Speaker 3:That's right. You're absolutely right. We got a video for that as well. That's right, and any Democrat and any person from the mainstream media and anyone that wants to continue to shame us for January 6th can go to hell.
Speaker 7:Go to hell and anyone who admits to federal crimes on camera can go to prison. I don't see that she admitted to a federal crime there. She just should save us for January.
Speaker 1:I mean she didn't say like which I helped plan. I mean, you know typically, uh, as that works in the court of law, that would be considered an admission.
Speaker 4:But she has carol admitted, when uh another um presence, that she said if we had guns on january 6th?
Speaker 1:we would have been successful we yeah who the fuck is we, marjorie? Who is we?
Speaker 1:who are we talking about when we say we in terms of you know, look, it's funny because you just go back in time to when it happened and then Trump tried to blame it on. First it was like Antifa and it was undercover Democrats, and then it was the FBI, and then it was like, actually, now, the people who attacked the Capitol on January 6th, they were patriots, they were warriors. You know, we should pardon them. Like it's insane how these defenses have changed over the course of time. It's insane how these defenses have changed over the course of time. Like they don't even make any sense whatsoever how they've gotten from just the original defensive it actually it wasn't the other guys.
Speaker 1:And now they're like, actually it was us and we would have been successful if we had actually brought guns. It's just bananas, but yeah, no, that sounded like a confession to me. Maybe I've been saying what. What did you two hear? When you're like, hey, you can't shame us for January 6th, I agree. Yeah.
Speaker 7:I don't know, I think she's adopted. I mean, look, I do think she was involved. And the other statement that you summarized sounds more like a confession, but I thought that was just like yay, we're a big stupid trader team and fuck everyone else. Team trader.
Speaker 1:So you're saying she's just taking credit for it Like she, she, I don't understand.
Speaker 7:I'm saying I don't think her statement has legal weight but I don't know.
Speaker 1:I mean depend outlook, I don't know what the jam All right, so the whole side tangent here. I'm sorry.
Speaker 7:The end of the day, it's going to be at someone's discretion Right. So fair.
Speaker 1:But so Trump was charged in DC last year. Surprise, surprise, though, that investigation didn't end once Trump got charged. It's still going. So what are they looking at and who can they possibly be looking at? That's like Jack Smith's team, or probably. I mean there might be a separate spinoff investigation inside DOJ. But you know I've talked about this a couple of times We've got all these co-conspirators for the fake elector plot Right. I mean, we don't necessarily know if there were any definite connections between, like the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers on the ground and members of Congress, but we do know that they had planned in advance to not certify the election and to use those fake electors. The fraudulent electors get those into Mike Pence's hands in order to, at the very least, refuse to certify Biden's electoral victory. But if you could get Pence to go along with it, certify the fake electors instead and give Trump an electoral college win. The FBI has got to be investigating that right. I'm not crazy, I'm not insane.
Speaker 7:I hope you would think so, but now it's been like, yeah, yeah, they would have to be investigating that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, now I know everyone They've been charged in some states.
Speaker 7:Right, that's state level shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the states have charged a few people, though they haven't necessarily charged any members of Congress. Yet Wisconsin haven't even gotten around to charging Trump yet, as we're still waiting on that decision from the Supreme Court about presidential immunity and the scope and whether it applies to the January 6th charges or not. And I think what some of the states are waiting on, at least as far as the decision is concerned, is what carve outs will the Supreme Court leave in terms of creating a viable pathway to charging Trump in a manner that won't be dismissed by the Supreme Court, right? So they'll have to look at the exact language of the decision and in that way they'll know how to draw up the indictment. So that might be part of the way. But I think what's going on with Congress here?
Speaker 1:Obviously, in DC, jack Smith wrote that indictment of Trump in such a fashion in order to make things as swift as possible, right?
Speaker 1:Because, like, the more Dakota finish you have, the more likely it is that it'll be the case will be tied up in pretrial motions and such that create unnecessary delays.
Speaker 1:And you see, even with that strategy, it's been delayed to hell and back and might not even take place before the election as it is, given the way the Supreme Court's holding things up. Another thing that I talked about previously, saying that there are ways for the Supreme Court to step in and try this out indefinitely. But if the Supreme Court makes a decision here to, I don't know, send this back down to the lower court for more additional findings, which will inevitably end with more challenges from Trump's legal team, that will send it back up to the Supreme Court counsel's office in Trump's co-conspirators. They probably got in draft indictments ready to go, and if this Trump trial in DC isn't going to take place before the election, that might be the only thing holding off holding up Jack Smith's office from charging these fuckers. From charging these fuckers, you know, at the very least, with um, you know the forged documents. The same way, wisconsin charged a number of trump's co-conspirators, right, if not, you know um obstruction of an official proceeding or any number of charges that the doj can file.
Speaker 4:Nope, yep, nope, yes maybe, nope, yep, nope, yes, maybe.
Speaker 1:Was that too much, I'm sorry.
Speaker 7:What.
Speaker 4:I think, is that the holdup in their you know judgment is that they're trying to figure out how to make trump unaccountable but make it that it doesn't apply to biden.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, they're definitely trying to throw the needle that is twisting their fucking heads. Yeah, because they can't.
Speaker 4:If they make a ruling that applies to Trump as far as presidential immunity, it would also apply to Bideniden right now.
Speaker 1:So they are trying to figure out how to do it in the way that to save trump but not biden yeah, no, they're definitely going to gerrymander the ruling around trump specifically in such a way that he gets off, uh, and firstly, the defendant must answer these riddles three how many hair plugs do you have on your head?
Speaker 7:If the defendant has no hair plugs, then the defendant does not have immunity.
Speaker 1:I mean one of the things Trump's legal team.
Speaker 7:If the defendant has orange hair plugs, no.
Speaker 1:One of the things Trump's legal team was arguing is that the president should be able to assassinate his political opponents, and like it would just be fucking hilarious. I mean, look, anything's possible. I guess the conservatives on the supreme court could just be like, yeah, unlimited immunity for official acts for president, but then, and then, and then, biden could take care of his opponent before the election.
Speaker 7:No, I don't want to live in that kind of country.
Speaker 1:I mean, or Biden could just have the Supreme Court justices that he doesn't like assassinated.
Speaker 7:Yeah, I mean, I was yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and then he could appoint his own Supreme Court justices. Just, it's wild, um, but yeah, just you know, little side, tangent rabbit hole, dive uh down all of the possibilities or the contingencies.
Speaker 7:It's going to be hard to get people to accept those appointments when their lifetime appointments are ended by those lockstop. What are those, uh, those machines that they just said we could, they could still have on guns that make guns lock stops. What are they called?
Speaker 1:bump stocks bump stocks yes, uh, yeah, that supreme court decision was insane. I mean, it practically turns a semi-automatic weapon into a machine gun into something that could take out six justices at once yeah, pretty much without really ever letting go of the trigger based on some weird tech.
Speaker 1:I don't. I don't even want to get into the like, the the nitty-gritty of that decision. That was insane. Just the idea, like, of allowing bomb stocks to be like. You can't ban bomb stops what just insane decision. Like if guns were allowed inC, I would suggest a number of people take their firearms and equip them with bump stocks and go protest outside of Supreme Court, justices, houses and I'm not saying that in order to like actually attack them. Obviously you can't go around shooting people, people, but just in protest, right, you know, exercise yourself. Second amendment rights in the way in which the supreme court allows, along with your first amendment rights to protest while they still exist as long as we have a biden administration, because if we have a trump administration, that shit is gone, guys. He said he gonna invoke the insurrection act on day one and take out all the protesters.
Speaker 1:Um, but speaking of trump, uh, he had a strange week. He shit all. Just what an insane thing. So apparently trump's brain is jello right. So he had a meeting with some donors and, uh, the rnc is having their national convention, convention in milwaukee, and apparently in this meeting. He shit all over wisconsin and well, specifically, milwaukee, uh and and that noise, that news got out, it was made public and there was immediately immediate backlash.
Speaker 1:I mean you know that was all over him. Like kendrick lamar was all over drake. Like the mayor of Milwaukee came out and held a press conference and talked to all that shit and I mean it was such a. It's so weird what does and doesn't catch fire in the media, like I wish I had more control of it. I have absolutely no control of it, but when you see what goes viral and what doesn't, if this went viral compared to some of the more insane things, it's also insane. But obviously it clearly did a lot of damage. Because the way Republicans came out and tried to defend it is they kept on making up different stories, the same way they tried to do after January 6th and the same way they tried to do with the classified documents after the FBI raid in Mar-a-Lago.
Speaker 4:What really chaps my hide is how the media manipulates and talks about Biden's mental acuity. But never, never trumps says anything about the bat shit, crazy shit that trump sets you're absolutely right there.
Speaker 1:The hypocrisy is staggering ever like and I and I'll be listening to his. So, if you didn't know, I do listen to a lot of his rallies recently, you know not because I don't enjoy it, for one, and then also his voice is extraordinarily grating but part of it is because the media won't actually report clearly and accurately on the things that he says at his rallies. I want to be aware because, like he'll hold a rally. It'll be an hour and a half long. 50 minutes of it is just utter batshit insanity. But you know what. But you know, but you know what the headline will be from the media.
Speaker 1:It'll be like trump holds rally, uh, crowd cheers, and you're like what? And that's it. Yeah, and you'll be like well, this is not the way that you should cover this, because you have to actually report on, like, the specific insanity that dribbles out of his mouth when he's speaking at these rallies. And then I'll give you a perfect example of just how bananas this dude is the joe b Biden's formally granting mass he's going to formally grant what the fuck did he just say?
Speaker 1:formally granting well, first, he said Joe Biden is formally granting mass. Think of, those were his exact words. Joe Biden is formally granting mass. Think of, those were his exact words. Ty, what, what, what, carol what does that mean?
Speaker 7:With more surely, with more context, and he would have made sense. No, I'm just kidding. It sounded like he was repeating the same stuff again. Mass, what?
Speaker 1:I have no idea what he was saying and that's. That is like some of the level.
Speaker 4:I mean, and that's just like seven seconds, joe bride, joe bride, he's doing mass yeah it's not not ideal. Joe Biden is doing mass, yeah, ok.
Speaker 1:Well, all right. So obviously you know that's just one example of many. But here's Donald Trump challenging Joe Biden with cognitive tests and it going horribly awry.
Speaker 5:He doesn't even know what the word inflation means. I don't think. If you gave him a quiz, I think he should take a cognitive test, like I did. I took a cognitive test and I aced it. Dr Ronnie, dr Ronnie Johnson, does everyone know Ronnie Johnson Congress? He doesn't even know what.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I'm sorry. You can't brag about acing a cognitive test and then get the name of your doctor wrong.
Speaker 5:I feel like.
Speaker 1:Ronnie Jackson, not Ronnie Johnson.
Speaker 7:You know, I can't keep those names straight.
Speaker 1:Is Ronnie Jackson your doctor?
Speaker 4:I am a former doctor, can we?
Speaker 1:say that again for the audience.
Speaker 4:The candidates that I know. I know you hate that. I state that.
Speaker 1:She says she's a former Republican. We don't know what the fuck she was thinking in her past life. She's changed her ways. I look at ty, you know you're a fucking unicorn. You, a beautiful black woman as a republican like those don't even really exist. Unless they paid, you was like nah, I just I don't know what.
Speaker 4:No, look I, I could grift the fuck oh man, if you had stayed in the republic oh my you'd be all in right now. If I was an awful person, your podcast would have way more supporters than we got.
Speaker 1:if you was a Republican still, you'd just be a no but look, you know long story.
Speaker 4:I could lift the fuck out of it.
Speaker 1:Long story short. Like you, grew up in a military family and then just tends to skew conservative regardless of you know what your skin color is, but my daddy is well.
Speaker 4:Well, you're from tennessee, my daddy d, so you know. My daddy was a southern pentecostal preacher in north carolina uh, you know what you got a little republican well, yeah, that's the thing.
Speaker 1:So, like the church and military, it has a whole lot of overlap with being conservative, whether you're actually Republican or not, in the black community my daddy was a Republican his whole fucking life.
Speaker 4:My 94 year old grandmother listened to fucking Rush Limbaugh every goddamn day. Oh, that's disgusting. She's like oh, you know, rush said today yeah.
Speaker 1:That's bananas.
Speaker 7:So you were indoctrinated into it.
Speaker 4:I see, so when I see people like Candace Owens and I'm like bitch, no, yeah, you know I was a real goddamn Republican. My first fucking vote in my life was for Bob fucking Dole.
Speaker 1:That's some weird shit. I wouldn't tell anybody that you might want to keep it. We got to get that out of the podcast. I did.
Speaker 4:That was my first vote, you might not do that that's a poor life decision.
Speaker 1:Um yeah, no, not a good idea.
Speaker 4:Oh, that's how republican I was it was really wild.
Speaker 1:uh, yeah, but no, but the thing is so I, you know, I imagine part of how you ended up you being a, you know, identifying as a republican is that there was a very thin veneer of like respectful platforms that the republican party used to put forth, like family values and fiscal responsibility and national security, all these fucking buzzwords, right. But then you look at what they were actually doing, it was like the total opposite and it's really just a party built on.
Speaker 7:Anyway, it's not important, we don't need to get into that, but yeah, now they think people will react better to just ridiculous culture wars and they have, but it took a while.
Speaker 1:Right, but back to trump. Back to trump being fucking brain dead. Um, so, first of all, the cognitive test if you take, it is extraordinary. I mean, it's not that it's not, it's not that it's super easy, but if your brain works it's. It's so straightforward that if you're bragging about passing it, that should also be a deciding factor as to whether or not you failed it. Because again, it's like the thing he said with like the you know, man, woman, person, camera, tv. It's some shit. Like yeah, they give you a list of words, they ask you a couple of questions. Then they're like, hey, all, right, now go back and repeat the five words and, if you like, repeat the five words, you pass the test. It's some shit, like now. And then he's bragging about it, which is insane. Like it's like an um, you know an intelligence quotients test or something like that, it's not that kind of test. And then he's like telling biden you know he should take one, I challenge him to take one, and then he immediately forgets his doctor's name. Um, that's wild.
Speaker 1:Now again, ty, you kind of caught called out the discrepancy between how the media reports on biden versus how they report on trump. You ain't seen that fucking clip on the news. Nowhere have you. But you see these edited biden videos all over right wing shit. Uh, you know, you have, like even you know, non-conservative media talking about concerns with biden's mental health, even though you don't have any evidence of any kind of cognitive decline whatsoever. Yet they totally ignore the banana stuff that trump says. And then it's, and look, you know what? I've got a perfect example of exactly what I'm talking about.
Speaker 4:No, Aaron Rupert did the good. On his YouTube channel I'm playing the exact script that the local news stations were saying local news stations were saying, oh yeah, so what?
Speaker 1:what happens is, um, so the right wing they get these videos, they edit the shit and then they, they comment on it. And then sinclair uh, sinclair media, who owns owns all of these like local tv stations. What they would do is they would take the comments and present the comments as some kind of news and they basically just ran a script on all of these local networks, word for word, attacking Biden's cognitive abilities based on some falsely edited, poorly crowd videos. Right, and then it's, it's this whole AstroTurf campaign to kind of slander Biden and they again so obviously it's been a long running thing with the Republicans are trying to accuse Biden of, you know, being mentally unfit, even though it's not accurate.
Speaker 1:But this, this experience here in the last week, is extraordinarily new, where they're just blatantly lying, like the type of shit they got fox news, sue, where they lost 787 million dollars. That's the kind of stuff they're doing right now and the reason why they're breaking out the fucking propaganda machine at this point is because, after trump's conviction, who did trump's polls take a hit? Sir Biden is whooping their asses. Whooping their asses and whatever you see in terms of like the, the reported polling where Biden's up two, three, four points on Trump. Now you know a massive five, six, seven point swing, sometimes eight point swing, over the past month, month, uh, I gotta tell you guys, uh, whatever like that polling says about trump's chances of winning, which are very low.
Speaker 1:I I imagine that the internal campaign polling is even worse and that's why, you know, they're in this frenzy state of panic mode of just trying to do whatever they can, uh, to attack biden and making up lies again, editing these videos, just make trying to. Just, it's absurd, um, but again, um, like back to biden's, or rather trump's, insanity, uh, in that meeting with the, the donors, where he was talking about, uh, milwaukee, he came out of that meeting and a number of the donors were like, yeah, you know, I came in, as you know, ostensibly a Trump supporter, and after talking to him, it just seems like he wasn't making any fucking sense. And now I'm not, I don't know, I wouldn't give him any money. It's horrifying, it is horrifying for Republicans and there's some rumors floating around about trump's self.
Speaker 7:We'll, we'll talk about notice they don't. Are they saying they're not going to vote for him or they're just not going to give him money?
Speaker 1:they're still gonna vote for him, but yeah, like they're not growing. They're not growing principles, they're just you know, spending wisely yeah, yes, not being so wasteful with their spending, spending selfishly. In that regard. But even after attacking Joe Biden on his supposed cognitive decline, Sean Hannity himself made a verbal flub that appears to show some evidence of decline on his part.
Speaker 8:We'll get to that. Rachel Maddow thinks she'll be put in a camp. Aoc thinks she'll be put in jail.
Speaker 1:Confusing AOC with AOL. That's unfortunate, especially after you were just shitting on Joe Biden. Maybe he just watched you Got joe biden, you know. Maybe he just watched you got mail. I don't know when was the last time aol was even active. Does aol still exist? Ty, you probably got an aol account lying around on you somewhere. Remember the aim, the messenger aol might still exist.
Speaker 7:I don't know, there might be still AOL mail.
Speaker 1:It does still exist Because Russell still has a AOL the audience don't know who Russell is, but yes, look, it's probably some people listening to this Like what the fuck is AOL? Because y'all some you know Gen Zers or whatever. So back in the day this is just absurd there was a once upon a time, you know, before Wi-Fi was invented, or at least readily available to the average person, actually, even before, like you know, uh, broadband, high speed modems or whatever we used to have this thing called dial up where you had to connect your phone line to your computer and then you had to have a.
Speaker 1:Yeah you have to have an internet service provider that would provide internet access over your phone line. Like it would call up, like your computer would call up the service provider and then that way they would send you internet traffic through your phone line. The shit was slow as fuck. It was like, you know, I don't know, it's extraordinarily slow, uh, but like in order to, in order to dial up to the internet, you were like call and then it was like in the background uh and yeah, and aol was famous for that um there aren't any zoomers listening to us I don't know, but uh, happy times.
Speaker 7:You know, this is, this is we're far too right leaning centrist for them yeah we're leftist whippersnappers you're definitely neoliberal shields in their eyes and I totally understand that.
Speaker 1:But uh, you know again, if you are that young and you're not aware of dial-up. Uh, like I know, the eras can tend to overlap. It's this was far past the eight track era, far past the rotary phone era. It was in the cd era. Like it, aol came on a cd, that's how you got it. Uh, you'd like order it and they'd send it to you in the mail and you install it, send it to you in the mail, whether or not you ordered it.
Speaker 7:I mean, we got the that's fair enough floppy disk. We had so many that one year my brother gave the mouse a trick or treaters because he's a dick all right, that's fair enough.
Speaker 1:They would so part of their part of their marketing campaign is they would just send people the disc and then hope you signed up for so it would also you get like a six hour 20 hours yeah yeah, you get like a free trial. Some of the discs would be like six hours, some would be like 20 hours, some would be like 24 or whatever earthlink would send that yeah in the mail ain't nobody ever heard of earthlink ty, I mean, maybe aol was like the super popular one.
Speaker 1:Um, netscape had one as well. But yeah, they would send you this free trial and they would hope, after you got like addicted to the internet, after six hours of waiting for three photos to load, you'd be like, yeah, I want to sign up for this shit permanently and pay for it.
Speaker 7:Um, and then they had this I want to see that fourth picture yeah, and then the aol look man.
Speaker 1:You had to do what you had to do to get your, get your shit off, uh, once upon a time. Um, yeah, and they also had the aol instant messenger. That thing is how you kind of it's like chat rooms back in the day, or how you talk to people dms on on the twitter and whatnot. Now you know we're on camera. Ty, oh you forgot.
Speaker 4:No, I don't know. You're all good, I don't mind Ty.
Speaker 1:Oh, you forgot. No, you're all good. I don't mind y'all putting on a show for the audience. Gotta give them something more exciting than my dumb ass. You wanna rub on a titty or something? No, I was talking to you, ty, you can rub on his titty. No, that's sexual assault.
Speaker 7:She seemed pretty into it to me. No, not like that, that's sexual assault.
Speaker 4:She seemed pretty into it to me, no it is not.
Speaker 1:She didn't consent to that.
Speaker 4:We married.
Speaker 1:I was just kidding, hey look. Hey. Ask Trump's ex-wife about whether marriage is an excuse for sexual battery.
Speaker 7:The dead one.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the one that's buried, the one who?
Speaker 7:died under unusual circumstances? Yes, which one?
Speaker 1:The one that died by blunt force trauma to the torso. You know the one. They buried by the par four when the grass was all overgrown after like a couple months. Don, julie, you need to get out there and cut your like, mow your mom. Mow your mom's hedges. She's an overgrown dog. I don't even remember what I was talking about. I totally lost track. Where were we at?
Speaker 4:Where were we?
Speaker 5:Oh, here's Ken from.
Speaker 7:Oh, they started making out ties on the video.
Speaker 1:It's a visual medium now ties too intoxicated to give consent oh, let's move on past that uh, yeah, I'm sorry, fbi, if you're listening this. These are jokes. You ain't got to show up a man's house, but yeah, so you know. Another insane thing that Trump said is basically well, he was telling a bunch of people at Turning Point USA or, you know, as I like to call it, toilet Paper USA that he doesn't need their votes. We'll play that clip for you.
Speaker 5:And I said to Charlie and I said to Michael I said, listen, we don't need votes, we've got more votes than anybody's ever had. We need to watch the vote. We need to guard the vote. We need to stop this deal. We don't need votes, we have to stop Focus, Don't worry about votes. We've got all the votes. I was in Florida yesterday. Every house has a Trump sign Trump, trump, trump, trump votes. We got all the votes. I was in florida yesterday. Every house has a trump sign trump, trump, trump, trump.
Speaker 1:And I said to charlie, as you guys know signs, don't vote like yeah, no, tell them not to vote.
Speaker 4:That's great. Yeah, being abused, and I have a problem with that watching trump talk and say this tiny fucking hands I like how we made it out and came back to
Speaker 1:that perfect I uh, I really cannot with that mother fucker all right, let's play a video of judge janine attempting to slander biden with these, as we were referring to earlier. There he is.
Speaker 9:Where's he going?
Speaker 1:But look, if you look at the right part of the thing. There are three guys standing to the right when they're saying the thing out there.
Speaker 8:So he's the only one. Look at that guy right there. Look at the guy.
Speaker 2:It was a pretty misleading video because what you're seeing here on the left is the New York Post. Edit that version. That's all people could see. It zoomed in, it was claiming that Biden appears to be wandering off. But when you actually zoom out like you do here on the right, you can see the full picture from the unedited source pool cameras, where very clearly he was talking to skydivers who were just out of frame as he was standing next to all the world leaders. You can see them there at the bottom, and I mean so that one was very obviously misleading.
Speaker 9:Yeah, that one was deceptively edited right to show Biden and make it appear again as if he's just wandering, staring off into the distance. Yeah, has no idea what he's doing, but that is literally what you hear in right wing media.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's absolutely fucking insane right? Just yes, uh, is it ty you?
Speaker 4:they have been ramping up the um misinformation and the edited yeah, the photos and photos.
Speaker 1:They shook, ty, they shook. I'm telling you that conviction to trump it got them shook. They're looking at the polling inside the campaign like it's over, we gotta do something.
Speaker 4:They're like pulling out all the guns here, ty you, yeah, yeah they are it's crazy and, like I said when I posted, like when I was dropped off to the airport and coming home, so you know, you go to the zoo and they have the places and they have the newspapers or whatever, and it was the washington post, the what?
Speaker 1:is that? What is that I? Don't know they all lie. Uh, the new york post, you mean?
Speaker 4:washington post, the washington, uh, the new york post washington journal oh yeah, and.
Speaker 1:Washington Journal.
Speaker 4:Oh yeah, and each one of them had and this was after Hunter's criminal conviction. Gun charges California and it was like I said Criminal conviction, gun charges, california, and it was Like I said, it was the Washington Post, washington Journal and the what.
Speaker 1:Bring us home, ty, where you going with this.
Speaker 4:Others, but Each one of them had the same headline and the same picture, right with the same statement about Hunter being indicted.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they got the same group chat. That's typically how that goes, right.
Speaker 4:And I'm sitting and I'm looking and these are papers that people consider to be rappable, that they consider to be like not partisan or you know whatever. And I'm looking at this and it was like what the fuck?
Speaker 1:Well, that's a good point, yeah, but after watching that video, here's Sean Hannity complaining about North Korea levels of propaganda coming from the left, ironically.
Speaker 8:All right, we are only eight days away from the first presidential debate, days away from the first presidential debate, and I think it is past time for the moderators you know, fake Jake Tapper on fake news CNN, fake Dana Bash to get their network in check, because right now we are witnessing North Korea levels of nothing but outright propaganda and, as you can see, they're not doing journalism, they lie. They say they're journalists. No, they're not. They're state run media. They're certainly not holding truth to power. The state run media is simply repeating White House talking points, all in what is a desperate attempt to defend their chosen candidate.
Speaker 1:Hey, that actually sounds like he's talking about his own network.
Speaker 4:Yeah, he's working. I thought he. Yeah, you got his job back.
Speaker 7:He's working. I thought he was fired. You're thinking of Tucker Carlson. Huh, I guess I thought both of them were.
Speaker 1:Sean Hannity is the other idiot.
Speaker 7:No, I know, I thought he was fired first, or he just lost his main show, or something.
Speaker 1:No, that was Tucker Carlson. They had to get his ass about it. Somebody had to take the fall for losing nearly a billion dollars in that judgment against fox news, and tucker carlson was high on the pecking order. I mean, obviously, look, I'm sure there's a lot of beef under well behind the scenes between carlson and fox anyway, and that was the final straw, but nonetheless, uh yeah, so right after we just showed you that deceptively edited video that fox news was trying to push, there's like sean hannity, they're literally describing everything that fox news is doing, but accusing, you know, non-fox news outlets of doing that. It's just, the projection is unending with these people and that's probably part of the reason why they're trying to attack biden's age and cognitive abilities, because their candidates brain is failing and you know, and like at least rfk jr, has the excuse of a worm eating his brain huh, yes, that he does.
Speaker 7:Yeah, I don't understand. Yeah, I mean, I guess, and they're, they're succeeding. Now they've got the stranglehold on the the base. Who is who believes this completely alternate reality? And of course he's gotta, he's gotta keep that up so they can suspend disbelief. So he's like, yeah, you know. I mean, the problem is All that shit you're going to see of us, all that stuff, like those real videos of us saying shit, those are fake.
Speaker 1:Yeah, the problem is I remember Kennedy and Combs.
Speaker 5:You remember?
Speaker 1:that I remember you really are a former Republican. You was there for that shit. You was in the trenches, you was watching the real shit. I don't know nobody, who's actually? Watched Hannity and Combs personally. I know we all know it existed once. No one's ever watched it. That's wild Bananas. Wild bananas pulling out your conservative bona fides yeah, bona fides.
Speaker 4:Yeah, that's absolutely I got, I got my street cred of republican yeah, yeah I mean I I've seen I've seen some episodes of crossfire when it aired back in the day.
Speaker 1:I ain't never seen Hannity and Combs Like yes.
Speaker 4:I did watch that.
Speaker 1:But, speaking of Trump's cognitive decline, we've had someone who actually spoke to the person and author who interviewed him, who went on the record about numerous issues that he's experiencing.
Speaker 2:Can we just first start off about your sit-downs with Trump Six times after he left the White House, which you know. It's such a different period thinking about what's happening in Virginia tonight and seeing his grip on the Republican Party. I mean, what was he like? What did you observe from him when you sat down with him?
Speaker 6:So I interviewed Donald Trump more than any other journalist since he's left the White House. We started in May 2021. And that report you just talked about about meandering and confusing is right. He goes from one story to the next, he struggles with the chronology of events, he seems very upset that he wasn't respected by certain celebrities in the White House, and then he'd go to a story about the Apprentice. So, as you know, caitlin, it's very challenging to interview Donald Trump and to go toe to toe with him, but there was some cognitive questions about where he was and what he was thinking and he would. He would, from time to time, become confused.
Speaker 2:Because you wrote at one point about Joan Rivers, him telling you that she voted for him in 2016, I believe, even though he confidently told me and declared that Joan Rivers voted for him when he ran for president, and Joan Rivers died in 2014.
Speaker 6:So she would not have been able to vote for Donald Trump.
Speaker 2:Yeah, and you, because you talked about his memory, you wrote that you know, on some days I have the feeling he has no idea who he's even talking to that he actually forgot or didn't remember that the two of you had spoken at your first sit-down interview.
Speaker 6:Right. So my first sit-down was in May. He wasn't doing a lot of interviews. And then we sat down again towards the end of the summer and when I sat down, I you know, there was a very blank expression on his face. So I asked do you remember when we spoke recently? And he said no, I have no memory of that and he couldn't recall. He said it was a long time ago and then we had to start from scratch. So the interview started from square one, where he was started telling me the same exact stories that we that I heard in our first interview. So from there then we did more interviews so that we could cover more ground, but it was a little bit like Groundhog Day.
Speaker 1:Yeah so clearly. Trump is fucked up, Joan Rivers. She voted for me. Bitch was dead, Like what are you. That was so funny. Rest in peace, Joan Rivers.
Speaker 4:And he was like oh yeah, I talked to Joan Rivers. I think she was Republican and I know she voted for me in 2016 yes, that's the clip we just watched.
Speaker 7:Yeah, I now, I typically yeah, that's what.
Speaker 1:that's the joke. In case you're wondering, ty isn't experiencing cognitive decline, she's just experiencing intoxication she had a few beverages. Look, Ty's had a rough day.
Speaker 7:Thank you for rehashing the story, Ty. You know what?
Speaker 1:I'm sure everyone's listening to this like damn, is Ty always having a rough day? Yeah, yes, yes, she is, she's got to be having a lot going on. Life is hard yeah.
Speaker 1:No, like yo, no, but you know we won't name the person. But you know a family friend of hers was diagnosed with a terminal disease and probably won't be with us, um, after the election, for that matter. Um. So you know it's rough day. Yolo out there like you. Only live once. Live it up. Like you know, don't let your dreams die. If you got some serious shit you've been thinking about doing, don't wait, don't put it off, because you know you never know what could happen to you. Life is short, anything can happen. You might not be here tomorrow, you know, might not be here next week. So you know, if you got dreams, go let that shit out. You know somebody you've been wanting to strike it up with trying to. You know. Get your shit off. Go holler at your boy, your girl or do whatever it is. You know you feel like traveling.
Speaker 7:In other words YOLO.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yolo summed it up, but yeah, that's, that's what's going on with Ty. There she, her brain, is totally fine. There's no worms, there's no dementia, there's no syphilis that I know about, Um, but she just, anyway, hang in there. But also, we've got a little bit more from that particular author talking about, well, even more of Trump's issues. I mean, just Wait, what did I do with that video? Well, maybe we don't have. Oh, yeah, we do. There we are.
Speaker 2:Your biggest takeaways from sitting down with him, you know, right after he left the White House, when his political power is probably the lowest it's been since 2015, and how he reflected on when he was hosting the Apprentice and the ratings were soaring in that first season and just kind of what that looked like for him.
Speaker 6:He was very deflated, he was conflicted, he was angry about the way in which the press had treated him. He still believed that he won the election and he was happiest when he talked to me about hosting the Apprentice. It was the thing that brought him the most joy. We watched clips of the show together. We watched the theme song and he really lit up. He watched firing the firing of Omarosa, and then he would talk about what he did at the White House and he would become gloomy and resentful and unhappy and referred to Afghanistan and Joe Biden. But he also seemed to think that he still had some foreign policy powers and there was one day where he told me he needed to go upstairs to deal with Afghanistan, even though he clearly didn't.
Speaker 2:He told you that he, while you were interviewing him at Trump Tower, he told you he needed to go upstairs to deal with Afghanistan.
Speaker 6:With the quote. The Afghanistan is how we refer to it.
Speaker 2:I mean, it's a remarkable experience, it's a remarkable book. So until today, apprentice in Wonderland, ramin Sat satuta.
Speaker 1:thank you for for coming on and talking about what those six interviews the afghanistan so trump is at trump tower being interviewed by this author and, like, he's like, excuse me, gotta go upstairs and take care of this af or the Afghanistan which you know. Again, trump's out of the White House. So this sounds absolutely fucking insane, right, it sounds like an insane, it sounds like he had a psychotic break, right. But you know, I'm actually going to get the author, that author of Benefit or the Doubt on this one, because here's what I think happens.
Speaker 1:Right, trump does a lot of business and he has a lot of foreign contacts and you know, obviously we all know, that he's a foreign asset in terms of Russia and Saudi Arabia, and probably Qatar and a number of others. Anyway, that's beyond the point. The point is that it's entirely possible, with Trump's I wouldn't say, a bevy of or wealth of information that's classified, but, you know, whatever small percentage of classified information he's retained in his brain, it's entirely possible that he could have been calling up someone and discussing information that's probably classified with him from a foreign country about, you know, afghanistan or Russia.
Speaker 1:That's true foreign country about, you know, afghanistan or russia, so like. While that clip does make trump sound like an insane person, it's also possible that trump is simply a traitor. Yeah, visual jokes work now. Uh, at least they will on youtube. Uh, they, they want to.
Speaker 7:They still won't work on the audio podcast, but thank you, carol you know if it, if it uh coups like a traitor, and oh well instills classified information like a traitor and discloses classified information to the Russians like a traitor. Then it's probably a conspiracy and a witch hunt against him.
Speaker 1:Well, ok, so beyond Trump's insanity again at these rallies, if they're not filled with utter stupidity, they're filled with utter lies and we're not going to play you any clips of the rally in terms of that. But do you have a clip here from an individual on a show on CNN doing quite a bit of fact checking of Trump's most recent rally?
Speaker 2:Daniel, take it away.
Speaker 9:He said there was world peace in 2020. There was very much not. He said he won Wisconsin in 2020. He lost. He said the Democrats rigged the 2020 election A lie. He said people around President Biden cheat on elections. No, he said people's votes tend to disappear. They simply do not. He said 107,000 people attended his recent rally in New Jersey. That's at least tens of thousands too high. He said he saved Kenosha, wisconsin in 2020 during rioting when the Democratic governor wouldn't act to intervene. In fact, that governor deployed the National Guard before Trump told him to.
Speaker 9:Trump said cocaine was found at the White House about a month ago. That was actually about 11 months ago. He said it was hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine. It was a little bag, maybe generously in the hundreds of dollars worth. He said Biden orchestrated his New York criminal trial. Zero evidence of that. He said Biden was also behind all of his cases, including civil trials baseless again. He said Biden wandered off at the G7 and didn't know where he was. No, biden was briefly chatting with a skydiver who had landed near the group. He said he was indicted more than infamous Al Capone. No, al Capone had more indictments than him.
Speaker 9:He said he was in Washington the other day for one of his trials. He was actually there for meetings with congressional Republicans. He said Nancy Pelosi turned down his offer of 10,000 soldiers on January 6th. She never got such an offer and would not have had the power to reject it even if she did. He said the January 6th committee deleted all records, just did not happen.
Speaker 9:He said he's the only president who didn't start a war. Jimmy Carter didn't start any wars. He said he finished the war in Syria no, and got US soldiers out. He actually left hundreds of troops there. He said Syria and Turkey have been fighting over their border for quote 2,000 years. That border Abby, is less than a century old. He said insane asylums are being emptied by foreign countries to let people come to the US as migrants. His own campaign cannot substantiate this claim. And he also said prisoners are coming in from jails in the Congo over the border. His campaign can't substantiate that either. He said President Obama cannot deport criminals to Latin American countries. Obama, in fact, could. He said Venezuela's crime is down 72% because of emigration to the US. Venezuela's violent deaths are actually down 25%. I'm so tired of this fucker, and that's for a variety of reasons.
Speaker 9:He said 17 or 18 million people have now entered illegally over the border. I would say that's many millions too high.
Speaker 7:Yes, I mean, but it's like at this point he's like he said that oxygen is not something that we need to breathe when in fact it is. Yeah look.
Speaker 1:So here's the thing, right, and I can attest to this guy's recounting of Trump's rally, because all of his rallies are like that. Every single rally is just a barrage. It's like a you know a semi-automatic rifle equipped with a bump stock and it only fires lies. It's just nonstop rat-a-tat-a-tat. Like Trump doesn't even tell. Like when Trump's not telling a lie, he's saying words that are bridges to another lie. That's how his lies work. Right, there's like, if it's not a lie, he's like filling the the time with words to get him to the next lie, and it's just non-stop. And then the fact that, like the way the media reports on these rallies that he holds, they don't do none of that kind of fucking fact. When have you seen a media outlet be like trump held a rally and told 476 lies? You ain't never seen it. Yeah right, you never have you ever seen it.
Speaker 1:You ain't never seen that headline. You've never seen it. It's been fucking eight, nine, ten years, nine years, this shit. You ain't never seen the media outlet be like rally full of flies, because that's what every rally headline should be, not trump holds rally. You know, ten thousand ten or whatever it?
Speaker 1:no, none of that, it just I'm told all of these fucking lies yeah, it's bananas, it's wild, and that's part of the reason why we continue to say the media is failing us. I mean, obviously I'm not a journalist or a reporter or or even a like a television news host or some such, but at least I'm not out here like giving you the bullshit, like I just try and call it how I see it. And obviously trump spits a lot of bullshit and then the media just lets it go. Yet they're out here trying to fact check byiden on stupid shit. I don't understand, like understand the idea of you think you need to cover, uh, two candidates fairly. So if you cover something negative about trump, then you have to say something negative about biden. But that's not fairness, that's ridiculous, it's absurdity. What, what you need to do is, if one candidate is doing something good, you need to report that that candidate is engaging in good behavior, and if the other candidate is doing something that is not good, you need to report that that candidate is engaging in bad behavior. That's called fairness, because you're just accurately reporting what's happening. You know, but I don't get out here and I just I I'm sick of the media, sick of them. I just they ain't like us. Um, yes, uh. So, as far as our shithole, the week of war goes, do either of you have any nominees? Uh, ty, I think you. I believe that you had a nominee from the previous week that you would like. Yeah, uh, hitty fucking turd. Yeah, it don't matter how intoxicated you are, you hate that bitch. Uh.
Speaker 1:So, first of all, it was um reported during the the criminal trial in new york, where trump was um being held accountable for his attempt to stick well, his effective stealing of the 2016 election. Uh, where, despite what you think about a, michael cohen testified under oath that there are basically a handful of people who were in trump's pocket as far as media figures concern, those being obviously maggie haberman. I mean maggie haberman of the New York Times. Still, I don't understand how she's reporting on Trump related shit after that revelation. Also, chris Cuomo, formerly of CNN, but also MSNBC's very own Katie Turr stenographers. You know the trump campaign just tells them whatever information that they want to put out and they just put it out. Don't fact check it.
Speaker 1:I mean, clearly, you know you've been watching katie turr for years now, if, if you like, in snbc, and you've probably been scratching your hand trying to figure out what the fuck is wrong with her. Well, uh, breaking news. There are a lot of media figures who are secretly trumpers, regardless of what network they think and they work for, or regardless of you know what political leanings they tend to present on tv. Some of them bitches is just out here ride for trump. Katie turr is one of them, and a lot more obviously like. She was literally breaking down about to cry when trump got convicted. But yes, continue, ty, explain what katie turr did in order to win the shithole or at least be nominated for the shithole.
Speaker 4:Katie Turr saying that Joe Biden is not a real fucker wait.
Speaker 1:Your audio went out. Start over. You want to plug your mic or something?
Speaker 7:okay, wait okay, this is Derek, this is Carol and this is Ty. Oh, start over shit. Did you unplug your mic or something? Okay, wait. Okay, this is Derek, this is Carol and this is Ty.
Speaker 1:You're oh, start over don't start over for the beginning of the podcast, just start over with your thoughts.
Speaker 5:You are so tired.
Speaker 1:Okay, did you unplug your mic me Ty oh. Ty Ty Ty, hello Me. Ty Ty Ty Ty, hello Ty. Can you hear me?
Speaker 7:Yeah, I think you unplugged your mic.
Speaker 1:I think you unplugged your microphone. Can you plug it back in?
Speaker 7:So yeah, Ty doesn't like Katie Turk, I was also going to throw in Louisiana.
Speaker 1:Yes, Louisiana is on some fuck shittery.
Speaker 7:We don't need no Ten Commandments in any of the classrooms. Yeah so, first of all, let's be fiscally responsible, but also let's carve a. I guess they didn't say it had to be a stone carving. That's how I picture it.
Speaker 1:They didn't actually say we had to have stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. Yes, they passed a bill requiring the Ten Commandments to be put in schools. That was, I mean, obviously violating the Constitution and the separation of church and state and whatever. You got your microphone plugged back in as you're working on that. My nominee no, as you're working on that, I'll inform you of my shithole of the week award nominee. I'm going with roger stone, where lauren windsor continued her work of catching these motherfuckers in public places uh, talking about some insane criminal shit.
Speaker 4:Where she caught roger stone on tape and asked him a few questions and that fucker texted me like two weeks ago on some his just weird fucking shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, if you're wondering why roger stone is texting ty, we ain't got no fucking answers for you. It's never made any sense to me. I mean, obviously you know ty's got some, some journalistic chops, so, uh, you know she's got contacts and such in that fashion. But yeah, I don't know what was going on that, but like on on the tape he he was basically saying you know, first of all, he admitted that they're like talking to judges about possible rulings on the 2024 election, why the Trump campaign actually have the numbers of judges like.
Speaker 7:That seems to be violating some kind of, and why are they so willing to tell it to, like any thin blonde woman who shows up?
Speaker 1:Yeah it's unfortunate.
Speaker 7:Yeah, I mean I I mean not for us. It's great that just you need like one attract. All we need is like a sycophant, like a fake sycophantic blonde woman, to show up and be like wow, you're so smart, tell me your plan, sure, sweetie?
Speaker 1:all right, here's what we got to do. So I'm sorry we missed out on ty's thoughts on katie turr, but fuck katie turr, she's getting the shithole of the week award for last week. Louisiana, in general, is getting the shithole award for this week and, in advance, roger stone is getting the shithole award of the week for next week. But back to roger stone here, as you were saying, um, the fact that you can just waltz up into these places where Republicans are congregating and just simply ask them questions about all the insane shit they're planning to do, and they're happy to fucking tell you that's a, that's an indictment on the media for having done zero investigative journalism in four fucking four years. Journalism in four in fucking four years.
Speaker 1:You know, 2021, january 6th, motherfuckers trying to overthrow the government, dog, and they ain't. Nobody like lauren made it clear. You can just walk up to them and ask them questions and they're happy to tell you all their fucking inner thoughts and everything they fucking plan on and everything, all of their hopes and dreams about destroying the government. All you got to do is ask them the fucking question. Clearly, ain't nobody in the media decided to go out and ask these motherfuckers no questions. What have you guys been doing? What have you been doing?
Speaker 7:And are you even small and blonde? Why not work? You don't know if they're small and blonde. They might have sent in a bunch of women of a bunch of different sizes and shapes.
Speaker 1:Lauren Windsor is out here whooping every major network's ass and is hurt by herself and a fucking recorder. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves Ashamed. Ashamed, just pitiful, like you know, yeah, shame those are our closing thoughts yeah, pretty much. You nailed it, carol. And that concludes this episode of pardon the insurrection.
